See what I mean about Big Bong time? An indeterminable amount of time has passed since we both started following this click stream and so far not one shovelful of dirt has been dug and you have yet to see a live web cam image, which, if the BBBB was a strictly commercial enterprise, would have every investor wwworried and every ticket holder demanding their money back, fortunately, this is not a strictly commercial enterprise that has to worry about profit and loss and stuff like that, at least not at this stage.

At this stage it's mostly Art, at least here on the Cyber Set of the first BBBBong it is, and, as every artist will tell you, Art happens at it's own pace and there's nothing you can do to speed Art up.

Indeed, it's over 6 years since I first had the idea to build a Big Bong, 6 years I been rolling this stone and I am well used to the 1 step forward 2 steps back - 3 steps forward 2 steps back - artistic way of doing things.

Those of you out there who are thinking of trying this in your own back yard won't need to spend anywhere like the amount of time it is taking me to progress through these stages, indeed, the day to day operating cost of a BBBB at this "Pot Hole Stage" is less than $5 perday, indeed, $5 should be more than enough to cover the web connection costs, ISP hosting, power and phone, however, there are 30.4 days a month and that means that $152 per month needs to be found.

$152 is of course more than I actually have in the gadgetbudget at any given moment in time, but then building a BBBBong is a bit like building a Pharaoh Sized Pyramid, you don't start with a pile of Pyramid Pieces and then put them together, you start with a plan and an empty piece of sand and then you go to where the stones are, cut them to size and cut them to shape AND THEN you put them in place - one stone at a time, whilst speaking about the pointy head stones they built a couple of thousand years ago on the banks of the Nile, they would impress me a whole lot more as architectural wonders if they were built the other way up....

Anyway, there are 2 BBBBasic methods you can try for raising the Venture Capital required for a BBBB Start Up.

1) Start Trading as if Cannabis was legal, this would mean that the Nimbin BBBB could start retailing Big Bong Bush Bud Baggies and peace cookies immediately.

2) Sell Tickets to a New Years Eve Party in the Canna-Bath and  Tickets to the Lighting Ceremony of the BBBBong.
